What does it mean to be Human?
What does it mean to bear God's image?
What does it mean to live in community with other humans?
All humans are valuable, powerless, vulnerable, and dependent. What do these words mean and how do we experience them properly? Life is tragic and we need each other to learn to live fully in this tragic world. This togetherness fills life with surprises and joy.
This series is based on Roman 1 and Paul's declaration that all the goodness of God is woven into the fabric of what it means to be human. This intuitive knowledge is accessible. Our problem is that we are addicted to betraying our humanity and suppressing that knowledge in order seek to find a source of goodness in ourselves. Why do we do that?
In this series we will seek to understand and explain these matters in simple ways while seeking to avoid traditional religious words.
Real experience has real meaning. Real meaning can be explained. Join us as we seek to explain this meaning as simply as possible.
